However, there is so info to be shared that I'm sure it is much too long for a picture book. More great information Debbie. Thanks for this post. I wish I were part of your critique group so that I could see your work. Much success to you!Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11391527903431779238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-663727401302268530.post-86731933733543145402012-04-27T14:22:47.727-07:002012-04-27T14:22:47.727-07:00Love this post and the points the editor shared wi...Love this post and the points the editor shared with you. I agree it could go either way, but see what she was saying.

I was a little surprised at the "raw" too as I thought it was pretty tight. But she said if I keep it a PB, I need to scale it back as there is a lot going on. So I'm going to hide it for another week then reread. I can often catch things when I haven't read it.

And I am keeping in mind she publishes 0-5. :-)

So much to think about!Debbie LaCroixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10710277717242032071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-663727401302268530.post-87466267325419864752012-04-27T09:44:36.265-07:002012-04-27T09:44:36.265-07:00Hi Debbie,

I still think it would work as a PB. Another editor might have a different take. Very humbling (and scary!) that she thought it was raw -- it seemed pretty darn close to me! Crazy what it takes to get pubbed... I wonder, if you've gone through three critiques, where do you go from here to take it to the next level? I I know it helps, but is time alone really enough?Ella Kennenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07704782746072825230noreply@blogger.com
